There are 2 types of athlete tracking:
  1. Tracking using the timing system. This type of tracking shows you what segment (swim, bike, run) that the athlete is on and the time and location of the last timing point crossed. ALL athletes can be tracked this way.
  2. Tracking using GPS. This type of tracking shows you where an athlete actually is using the GPS signal from their phone. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT ALL ATHLETES HAVE SOMEONE TRACK THEM THIS WAY!!! However, in order to track athletes this way, they MUST carry their phone with them and register on a tracking app. We recommend Life360 as a very good app to track your loved ones and friends while they race.
